Painting finished

The exterior painting of my 1924 former Tyre Surgery building was completed just in time for Monto's 100 year Festival. The building now has a name (The Corner Studio) and a more confident and creative presence on the street. I have to thank expert Monto painter Phil Pruden for helping me get the painting over the line in time. And for all I've learned through the painting process.

The mural is of stylised Crows Ash (Flindersia Australis) pods - a native scrub tree growing in the North Burnett that is beautiful as a tree form, in flower, in seed and as timber.

The interior too, is freshly painted and an inspiring space to be creative in.
